Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Rust Software Developer based in Camden, NJ. The Lead Rust Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and reliable software solutions with a focus on the Rust programming language. Daily tasks include creating clean, high-performance code, collaborating cross-functionally with other team members, performing code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and ensuring software quality and security. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior developers and actively contribute to the improvement of development processes within the team.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Rust programming language, with strong proficiency in designing and developing optimized, high-performance software
  • Experience with software development practices such as debugging, testing, and code reviews
  • Familiarity with systems programming concepts, memory management, and concurrency
  • Understanding of modern software development tools and frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clear and maintainable code
  • Experience with mentoring and guiding junior developers
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Camden, NJ
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Experience in leading development teams and contributing to architectural decisions is a strong advantage
