As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you bridge the gap between technical data teams and business stakeholders, transforming complex data into clear, impactful reporting. Your work will enable smarter decisions, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic growth across the organization.

The role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite at our Irvine, CA location.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards that deliver accurate, actionable insights for leadership and operational teams.
• Use SQL to query, validate, and troubleshoot data, ensuring accuracy and reliability across reporting systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies by collaborating with data engineers on integrations, ETL logic, and data quality improvements.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and document metric definitions and reporting logic for consistency.
• Prioritize reporting needs and provide user training and support to ensure adoption and understanding.
• Drive process improvements in reporting standards and analytics workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Leverage systems knowledge to support data mapping and maintain cross-platform consistency.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, Report Developer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards in Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and troubleshooting data.
• Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data flows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with objects, reporting, and data modeling.
• Experience with Azure Synapse.
• Familiarity with NetSuite.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms or modern data warehouse environments.

$87, $186,700.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
