Job Overview
LOBYS ON CLE ----we are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred, along with strong skills in food safety, cash handling, and time management. The successful will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for the food and beverage industry.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests efficiently and accurately.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders and payments swiftly.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including processing transactions and giving correct change.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in busy settings such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math proficiency preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations.
• Experience in beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixology is a plus.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and safely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
