Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Shift Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery to ensure smooth shifts.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and balancing registers at shift end.
- Monitor inventory levels, control stock rotation, and coordinate ordering to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching to foster growth and accountability.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within quick service or fast food restaurant environments.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong background in restaurant management, including shift management, kitchen management, and hospitality management.
- Proven supervising experience with staff training & development, team management, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food production processes.
- Ability to manage budgets, perform cost control analysis, and implement effective food & labor cost strategies.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences in casual or fine dining settings.
