Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a Shift Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts, fostering a positive team environment focused on teamwork and service excellence
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Coordinate food production, inventory control, and stock levels to ensure smooth operations and minimize waste
- Train new team members and provide ongoing development opportunities to enhance their skills in food service management and customer care
- Ensure timely service delivery in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting, maintaining high standards of quality and speed
- Assist with shift management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and resolving customer concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management or supervisory roles within quick service, casual dining, or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, cash handling, and food safety protocols
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Prior experience with catering, banquet events, or hotel food services is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
