Job Summary
We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, ethical ABA services across home, school, and community settings in Miami-Dade County. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, organized, bilingual, and committed to data-driven decision-making, compassionate care, and compliant supervision. This role includes assessments, treatment planning, RBT supervision, caregiver training, documentation, clinical collaboration, Medicaid compliance, and ongoing support across all environments.
ResponsibilitiesAssessment & Treatment Planning
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), preference assessments, and skill-based assessments.
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Skill Acquisition programs based on ABA principles, assessment results, and family priorities.
- Identify socially significant goals aligned with BACB standards and client needs.
- Analyze data continuously and update interventions based on clinical indicators, progress trends, and treatment integrity.
- Ensure all treatment decisions follow the BACB Ethics Code, evidence-based practice, and Medicaid guidelines.
Direct Clinical Work
- Model interventions to ensure strong treatment fidelity and RBT competency.
- Run programs in natural environments (homes, schools, community settings) to promote skill generalization.
- Implement preventative and proactive strategies within the BCBA's scope of competence.
- Support generalization of learned skills across caregivers, settings, and routines.
Supervision & Training (BACB-Compliant)
- Provide structured supervision to RBTs, including: Behavioral Skills Training (BST), modeling, guided practice, performance feedback, and competency checks.
- Ensure all RBT documentation, session notes, and data collection meet Medicaid, BACB, insurance, and agency standards.
- Complete monthly supervision requirements and maintain accurate supervision logs.
- Conduct fidelity checks, correct procedural drift, and ensure proper implementation of treatment plans.
- Participate in onboarding and development of new RBTs and team members.
Caregiver Training
- Conduct caregiver training sessions using BST and clear, evidence-based guidance.
- Teach families how to implement behavioral strategies consistently across daily routines (homework, meals, transitions, etc.).
- Monitor caregiver mastery, provide ongoing feedback, and adjust training goals using data.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with teachers, school staff, therapists, physicians, and community partners to align treatment goals.
- Attend school meetings when appropriate and offer professional recommendations.
- Maintain culturally responsive, empathetic communication with families.
- Advocate for client dignity, safety, and least restrictive practices at all times.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, detailed, HIPAA-compliant documentation including FBAs, BIPs, treatment plans, session notes, progress summaries, supervision logs, and monthly reports.
- Ensure all documentation meets BACB, Medicaid, and agency compliance standards.
- Submit all clinical updates, reports, and treatment changes on time with data-based justification.
- Maintain confidentiality, informed consent, risk awareness, and compliance with ethical and legal regulations.
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish required).
- Must be an approved Medicaid Provider or eligible for immediate enrollment.
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles, FBAs, data collection systems, reinforcement procedures, and treatment integrity.
- Ability to supervise RBTs following BACB supervision and ethics standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Reliable transportation; this position is fully in-person across Miami-Dade (no remote or hybrid options).

- $70–$80 per hour, depending on experience, availability, and caseload.
