X-Ray Field Service Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years experience with servicing medical x-ray equipment and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients by ensuring that their equipment is operating efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and proficiency in reading schematics. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining relationships with our customers while delivering high-quality service.

Duties

• Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of various equipment in the field.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on-site.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide training and support to clients on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service engineering or related roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
• Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus.
• Ability to calibrate various types of machinery and equipment.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
• Willingness to travel as required for on-site service calls.

Pay: $ $43.25 per hour
