Quality Assurance Engineer

The key responsibilities encompass identification, planning, design, development, and maintenance of projects and automation architecture to streamline testing processes, reduce manual testing overhead, and elevate quality benchmarks across SeneGence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Spearhead the deconstruction of business requirements into precise Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria.
• Showcase mastery in software testing, covering test strategies, test plans, and comprehensive test execution.
• Leverage a profound grasp of fundamental SDLC concepts and best practices in testing across all SDLC phases.
• Harness the potential of automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman, and more.
• Develop antiestablishment automation for web services and APIs.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability of test processes.
• Direct the creation, execution, analysis, and presentation of performance, benchmarking, load, and scalability tests grounded in product requirements.
• Execute testing for projects spanning from high to very high complexity, alongside offering guidance, training, and mentorship.
• Monitor and dissect test results, generate automation summaries, and keep track of progress statuses.
• Participate in post-deployment testing initiatives as necessitated.
• Demonstrate effective skills in influence and negotiation.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing or other software development roles.
• Familiarity with the Agile Scrum framework.
• Proficiency in constructing Automation Framework with tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Expertise in GitHub code repositories.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, like C# or Java script.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
• Rapid grasp of emerging technologies and concepts.
• Proficiency in teamwork and collaborative dynamics.
• Excellent organizational prowess, capable of managing simultaneous parallel deadlines.
• Experience in integrating automation frameworks with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline is a notable advantage.
• Experience in testing Mobile Apps for iOS and Android is an added bonus.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED FOR POSITION: 

• Familiarity with the integration of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in testing Mobile Apps for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with Shopify a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

Physical requirements include arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard, ten-key, and telephone; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds; may be subject to walking, standing, sitting, reaching, balancing, bending, crawling, handling, feeling, kneeling, climbing, twisting; and vision, speech, and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks.  

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

Working environment is primarily indoors in an office setting and occasionally outdoors for special events; requires some evening and possible weekend hours and requires use of telephone and other office equipment.
