About the role

We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to become a cornerstone of our early technical team. You'll build critical features end-to-end across the platform, owning major components in both the frontend (React + TypeScript) and backend / NestJS / PostgreSQL), while also managing and scaling our AWS infrastructure.

You'll integrate AI/LLM services into production systems, collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the engineering culture. Candidates with experience leading small teams or mentoring others are especially encouraged—this role has room to grow into Technical Lead as the company scales.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale core platform features across frontend and backend

• Own services built with React + TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL

• Integrate AI/LLM-powered APIs and workflows into production applications

• Manage and scale AWS infrastructure (networking, ECS/EKS, RDS, monitoring, security)

• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to connect models to real-world applications

• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture/system design

• Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and testing processes

• Mentor junior engineers and help shape team culture

• Influence roadmap and make build-vs-buy and scalability tradeoffs

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Deep experience with React and modern FE architectures

• Backend expertise in , REST APIs, async flows

• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

• Experience integrating AI APIs / LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, RAG, etc.)

• Proven experience managing and scaling AWS infrastructure

• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)

• Understanding of AI workflows (prompt engineering, embeddings, vector DBs)

• Experience in fast-paced startup environments

• Strong communication and mentorship skills

• Experience leading projects or small teams is a strong plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with NestJS, MikroORM, or advanced TS frameworks

• Familiarity with Playwright, Jest, or other testing frameworks

• Background in procurement, supply chain, or B2B SaaS

• Previous 0→1 or early-stage startup experience
