Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. We are looking for someone who has at minimum 1 year of construction experience.

This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. A commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is essential. We work mostly in Northern/Central Rhode Island but occasionally further into the state of Rhode Island

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Install drywall, perform caulking, and ensure proper finishing of surfaces
• install flooring, siding, cabinets and finish trim
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects to ensure seamless integration of work.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Knowledge of structural framing
• Expertise in cabinet and finish trim installation with an eye for detail.
• Strong skills in caulking to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetics.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Competence in installation of flooring and siding for both aesthetic and functional purposes.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential for carpentry work.
• Experience in remodeling projects that require creativity and problem-solving skills.

You will have the ability to work towards a company truck and gas card.
