We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Lead and supervise the culinary team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service.
- Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to align with restaurant branding and customer preferences.
- Manage food production processes including food preparation, cooking, and plating for fine dining, catering, banquets, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous standards for sanitation and hygiene.
- Oversee inventory management including ordering, stock control, and cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Supervise shift management to ensure smooth operations during all service hours.
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and promote healthy eating options.
- Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and team development initiatives.
- Oversee catering operations and collaborate with event planners to deliver memorable culinary experiences.
- Maintain excellent communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and facilitate repairs or upgrades as needed to uphold safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining, banquet, or restaurant management roles with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Extensive culinary experience including food production, catering, menu planning, and food safety protocols.
- Supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen environment with strong team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures.
- Experience in kitchen management, including shift management, inventory control, and food service operations.
- Strong background in food industry standards such as culinary arts, hospitality, and food service management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary certifications or relevant hospitality qualifications are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $110, $140,000.00 per year
