Banquet Bartender/Server

Join the staff at Mavericks Steak & Cocktails at the Goss Opera House. We are looking for enthusiastic banquet bartenders and servers to provide an excellent event experience. Good banquet bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' needs and expectations in a fast paced environment. Servers and bartenders will help with setup, service and clean up. Compensation includes salary and automatic gratuity plus cash tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for event patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy - Micros PoS system
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $5.75 per hour
