The Orange County Division of Building Safety is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Administrative Office Coordinator . An individual in this position will be responsible for coordinating division services and providing administrative support as needed. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of the assistant manager. Performance is reviewed through observations conferences reports and results achieved.

Job Description

Representative Duties/Assignments

  • Coordinates office services such as clerical, reception, purchasing, personnel, budget, and travel.
  • Coordinates major projects and programs for the office
  • Prepares, researches and analyzes information for reports, projects and meetings to be delivered internally and externally.
  • Coordinates meetings, prepares documents, and creates agendas and meeting minutes. Posts meetings in accordance to the Florida Sunshine State Laws. Maintains communication with various Boards and subcommittes for County purposes as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent and five years of experience in related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.

Must possess proofreading, organizational, presentation and communication skills.

Preferences

Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Salary Information

Pay Grade: 012 - From $19.94 to $25.66
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
