We are growing quickly and seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple entities and contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven organization focused on powering the future.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will support the VP of Finance with day-to-day accounting activities across several companies within the CPL Group. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and skilled in managing financial data in a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping activities for multiple companies within QuickBooks.
• Assist the VP of Finance with job costing, cash management, financial reporting, and tax preparation.
• Enter vendor bills and verify accuracy against purchase orders submitted by operations teams.
• Prepare weekly payroll.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management review.
• Maintain an orderly and accurate accounting system.
• Ensure all financial data is recorded correctly and in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $50,000–$60,000, based on experience.
