Direct Support Professional

Staff will work in a residential setting supervising and supporting male developmentally disabled adults with basic living, self help, and social skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and care for consumers by maintaining a safe environment in the home
• Prep and prepare clients meals and snacks
• Assist clients with chores/laundry/self help skills
• Oversee clients during community outings if applicable
• Administer medication by following all the correct medication administration guidelines
• Collect data and document daily logs and consumer notes
• Preform housekeeping duties to ensure facility is clean and organized
• Perform any other related duties and assignments as required

REQUIRED:

Employees must pass a background check prior to working with consumers

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED

CERTIFICATES:

• Direct Support Professional Year 1 preferred
• CPR/First Aid required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred

STARTING PAY:$18.00 per hour

SHIFT AVAILABLE:

10pm-6am/8am (including weekends/holidays)
