We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, menu planning, and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in menu planning, including daily specials and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Cleaning and rotating products on a daily basis.

Skills

• Proven experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department requirements is a plus.
• Excellent knife skills and ability to work with various kitchen tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety practices.
