Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide home care services to neurologically impaired patients to improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

• Provide therapy sessions to address speech articulation, swallowing, language comprehension, and expression

• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and tools to facilitate communication skills

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication outside of therapy sessions

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
