Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tabs swiftly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking while addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures, including cashiering duties when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and general cleanliness standards.
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems, serving techniques, and safety protocols.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by participating in promotional activities or themed events when required.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, responsible alcohol service practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in diverse environments like nightclubs or catering events is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate measurement of ingredients are necessary.
• A background in hospitality or the food industry that includes retail math proficiency will support success in this role.
