Construction Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate activities across multiple teams.
• Oversee construction site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and subcontractor bidding using HeavyBid or comparable tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and updates in construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets design specifications and industry standards.
• Manage project risks proactively by identifying potential issues early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead negotiations on contracts and change orders to optimize project outcomes while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management including site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D or similar tools for scheduling and document control.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control measures using HeavyBid or equivalent programs.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
• Skilled in project scheduling with Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Excellent understanding of contracts management including negotiation, administration, and compliance monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination across multiple teams ensuring smooth workflow from start to finish.
• Effective time management skills enabling prioritization of tasks in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles such as site grading, drainage plans (Civil 3D), and schematics interpretation is a plus.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects with diverse teams on-site experience preferred.
