Job Title: Custom Cabinet Builder and Finish Carpenter

We are a custom kitchen and home renovation company specializing in premium cabinetry, trim work, staircases, and full-scale interior upgrades. Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Builder/Maker & Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded craftsperson who can build custom cabinetry from raw materials, assemble detailed components, and perform high-quality onsite installations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently both in the shop and on customer job sites.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $27–$35 per hour, depending on experience (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities

Cabinetry & Woodworking

  • Build custom cabinets and specialty wood components from start to finish.
  • Install cabinetry, trim, staircases, and built-ins with precision and craftsmanship.
  • Operate CNC and edgebanding equipment as part of the fabrication process.
  • Safely operate saws, sanders, routers, power tools, and hand tools.

Onsite Work & Client Interaction

  • Install custom pieces in clients' homes in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members as needed.
  • Collect final payments and take completion-photos when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Logistics & Project Support

  • Pick up materials and arrive at job sites on time.
  • Load, unload, and secure materials and tools for each project.
  • Accept deliveries and store materials properly.
  • Accurately estimate needed supplies, tools, and materials for assigned work.
  • Monitor inventory and notify the team when additional materials are needed.

Shop Work

  • Work independently in the shop to build, fabricate, and prepare components.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.

Other Duties

  • Complete additional related tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work safely with sharp tools and power equipment.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods on concrete.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach, stretch, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely on ladders or elevated surfaces.
  • Visual accuracy to read plans, measure, and assemble components.
