POSITION SUMMARY:

The maintenance technician position performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to achieve the site's business goals and objectives.

MAINTENANCE LEAD:

  • Provides direction to other maintenance technicians on the SWD project priorities.
  • Coordinate the work schedule and work priorities of other maintenance personnel.
  • Order parts and materials needed to maintain a safe working environment, production operations, and the SWD facility.
  • Identifies, vets, and negotiates with vendors.
  • Coordinates facility and equipment upgrades and repairs with specialized vendors.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, plans, and sees projects to completion.
  • Schedule and ensure completion of PMs for all machinery and equipment in the facility.
  • Maintains documentation on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Identifies and implements procedures more efficiently to operate machinery, improve safety, and improve productivity.
  • Works closely with EH&S personnel.
  • Provides training to other technicians and employees on equipment operations and safety protocols.
  • Ensured compliance with annual safety audits (including lock out/tag out), safety procedures, authorized employee training, and equipment master list.
  • All of the essential job requirements of a Maintenance Technician and the duties listed above.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Work.
  • Repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
  • Build and install various types of equipment and fixtures.
  • Assist on any other project or job assigned by Maintenance Leaders.
  • Able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Willingness to learn new skills in both a classroom environment and on-the-job training.
  • Conduct yourself in a "team spirit of cooperation" throughout the company.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
