Assembly and Installation

Starting pay 50K+, depending on experience.

A company servicing the Atlanta area is seeking a full time Assembly and Installation Technician for the Health and Fitness Industry.

We are looking for someone who possesses high mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic. Experience with the following is a plus:

Installations, maintenance, general assembly, light repair work, use of hand tools, and warehousing, driving a box truck.

Job Description:

The Assembly & Installation Tech will install, repair and perform routine maintenance on all types of fitness equipment. This includes:

- Setup and configuration of cardiovascular and strength equipment

- Testing machinery and equipment for defects and proper function

- Disassemble and reassemble various types of electromechanical units (Fitness Equipment)

- Receive and load product and assist in maintaining the warehouse

Job Requirements:

- Experience in installation, assembly or mechanical maintenance and repair work using a variety of hand and power tools

- Be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 75lbs

- Posses excellent customer service and communication skills

- Good time management skills

- Must have basic computers skills

- Present a neat and clean-cut appearance at all times

- A valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation

- Possess a high School Diploma or GED

- No criminal felonies

- Must be willing to submit information for background checks

Responsibilities

• Assemble fitness equipment components accurately using hand tools and power tools
• Install assembled products at designated locations or client sites
• Safely move materials and finished products throughout the warehouse or factory floor
• Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical diagrams
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during assembly or installation processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly line work, or warehouse operations preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Experience operating power tools, and hand tools required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods
• Basic understanding of health and fitness equipment is a plus but not required

This role is integral to delivering high-quality fitness products while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
