Field Service Technician

Overview
We are a telecom company providing VoIP services to commercial and City/County Government facilities. We deal with phone hardware cabling and servicing the customers to provide dial tone. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our clients in the field. You will utilize your technical expertise to Install new systems as well as troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.
• Conduct technical activities, providing clients with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking service requests and managing work orders.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Work with low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and perform repairs using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service or a related technical role is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for service calls.
• A valid driver's license is required for travel purposes.
