search with a leading financial services, private markets fund administrator on a
Controller
hire. This highly visible, hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the integrity of U.S. financial reporting, managing monthly and quarterly close processes, and ensuring full compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC standards, and internal policies.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead month-end and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
• Oversee working capital budgeting, forecasting, and related reporting.
• Champion strong governance practices and promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence across the global organization.
• Advise senior leadership on the financial and accounting implications of business initiatives, including new products, technologies, and strategic investments.
• Maintain full ownership of the balance sheet and apply sound financial risk management to reduce exposure to potential write-offs.
• Leverage deep knowledge of GAAP and IFRS to ensure accurate and compliant financial outcomes.
• Support the integration and adoption of new technologies to enhance financial controls, reporting efficiency, and process automation.
• Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process.

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including public/private mix; prior Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

• Extensive experience with U.S. GAAP, including deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Proven experience managing teams in both domestic and international environments.
• Background in private equity or fund administration is a significant plus.
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools such as SAP, Hyperion, SmartView, or MS Dynamics is preferred but not required.
