Join our dynamic team as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for helping others and expertise in behavioral therapy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and foster positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress to ensure treatment effectiveness and inform ongoing care plans.
  • Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other essential self-care skills.
  • Support teaching strategies that enhance communication, social interaction, and adaptive skills tailored to each child's needs.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, review, and update individualized care plans aligned with each child's goals.
  • Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, independence, and emotional well-being for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in behavioral therapy settings or special education environments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Familiarity with assisting children with ADLs and implementing behavior intervention strategies effectively.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality and proper documentation.
  • Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is a strong asset.
  • Strong teaching skills combined with patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt approaches based on individual needs.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
