Server/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service, knowledge of the menu, and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or OpenTable systems, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
• Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices throughout service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help colleagues when needed.
