Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring efficient food production and timely service for both dine-in and catering events.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while managing shift responsibilities and workflow.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to uphold the highest quality and safety standards.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and plating techniques to enhance the dining experience.
- Support banquet services, catering events, and special functions with expert food preparation and service management.
Skills
- Extensive.BBQ and culinary experience
- Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen teams effectively.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience working within dietary departments or specialized menus.
- Expertise in food production, food handling, and food safety procedures across various settings including restaurants, catering, and banquet services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills for inventory management, shift planning, and menu execution.
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices such as food service management, inventory control, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in catering services, including event setup, serving coordination, and food presentation.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to cooking techniques, food preparation, bartending (where applicable), and hospitality service excellence.
