Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Office Services Receptionist on a permanent basis on our Facilities Design and Development team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

We're seeking a professional, service-focused individual who enjoys being the welcoming face of a busy Home Office. This role offers the opportunity to support daily operations while ensuring a safe, smooth, and well-organized workplace.

What you'll do:

  • Performs receptionist duties, receiving and guiding all visitors to the FCL building to the proper parties. 
  • Ensures all visitors are signed in/out of the visitor management terminal when visiting the Home Office building in accordance with FCL safety policies. Provides support for building access as required.
  • Answers and directs all telephones calls and handles and directs all on-line inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Acts as super user of on-line booking system for in-house meeting rooms.  Provides booking assistance to internal clients as necessary. May request prearranged meeting room set-up and provide pre-printed attendee lists for large external groups.
  • Maintains a register of mobile audio-visual equipment for use at in-house or outside of the Home Office buildings meetings.
  • Assists with the creation of new employee or change in office/workspace name plates/tags as required and coordinate tags with Building Operations for employee on-boarding/seating change purposes.
  • Maintains and orders office supplies for Office Services as per established purchasing policy.
  • Participates in departmental meetings and participates on committees as requested.
  • Ensures the required training is up to date and maintained.  Other duties as assigned.

The Team: You will work closely with the team of Office Services and will report to the Supervisor, Office Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture that values outgoing, solution-oriented individuals who think quickly, stay calm under pressure, and adapt with confidence.

The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Facilities Design and Development team business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the Shipping and Receiving team and the mail room.

The Customers: You will demonstrate a strong customer focus by identifying and effectively supporting the diverse customers you serve.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • Have a High School education plus a one-year Office Certificate OR High School education plus minimum of two years of related experience
  • Have 1-2 years of work experience in a busy reception area
  • Have experience working with a switchboard
