What you'll be doing...
In this key role, you will act as a liaison between business operations and development to build or enhance internal systems, websites, mobile applications and reports. On occasion, you may also act as project manager, taking the project from initial request to implementation. In addition to business analysis skills, a background in employee benefits or accounting is helpful, but not required.
This position has a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week (Tue/Wed/Thu) on-site in our Seattle office.
As a Business Analyst you will:
- Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, compliance and IT, to elicit, analyze and document business needs
- Translate business, operational and regulatory needs into clear functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Server as a liaison between business users and development teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment
- Analyze current-state processes and systems; document future-state workflows and recommend improvements
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows and data mappings
- Ensure requirements and solutions align with data governance, security and compliance standards
Who you are...
- Educated: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experienced: Three years demonstrated experience in business analysis required
- Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical: Proven analytical & quantitative skills to complete root cause analysis
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and at own direction
- Technically Savvy: Advanced skills in MS Office suite & Azure DevOps
