Seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex vertical construction projects in the Washington, D.C. metro area. This is a full-time, site-based leadership role managing safety, quality, coordination, and schedule from groundbreaking through closeout on projects ranging from $10M to $100M+.

Responsibilities
- Serve as on-site lead overseeing all daily field operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and maintain schedule adherence
- Monitor and enforce quality control and site cleanliness standards
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and lead subcontractor coordination meetings
- Partner with Project Management to manage cost, schedule updates, change orders, and documentation
- Drive timely project delivery with minimal rework and strong owner engagement
- Supervise 3–5 direct reports and oversee up to 100 workers on active job sites
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience managing ground-up construction projects valued at $10M+
- Proven track record in healthcare, higher education, K–12, or federal construction sectors
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required
- OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
- Strong proficiency with CPM scheduling, subcontractor sequencing, and site logistics
- Skilled communicator across trades, owners, consultants, and internal teams
- Hands-on leadership style with a field-first presence
- Local to Washington, D.C. region (within ~90-minute commute)
- Willing to work weekends when necessary to maintain project timelines
