Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Handle food preparation tasks such as dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning with precision and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, knives, and other culinary tools
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza options or improvements based on customer feedback and current trends in the food industry
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service, ensuring timely order completion during busy hours
• Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of pizza or related dishes as needed
• Follow all procedures for food storage, inventory management, and waste reduction to minimize costs and ensure freshness

Experience

• Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required; we value enthusiasm for learning about food safety and preparation techniques
• Experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting demonstrates strong culinary skills and attention to detail
• Kitchen experience within the food industry—particularly in pizza making or similar fast-paced environments—is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, knife skills, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is essential for success in this role
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper ingredient storage ensures compliance with health regulations
• Experience in catering or serving large groups can be beneficial for supporting special events or high-volume periods
