Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and observant Part-Time Patrol Security Guard to conduct mobile patrols during overnight hours from Friday through Sunday. This is a part-time position, ideal for individuals seeking extra income. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to follow site-specific instructions to maintain the safety and security of assigned properties.

This position involves driving a patrol vehicle, conducting perimeter inspections, writing reports, and addressing security concerns as they arise.

• Schedule: Friday – Sunday
• Start Time: 2:00 AM
• End Time: 6:00 AM
• Pay: $18.50 per hour
• Location: Upland, CA and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned residential and commercial properties by vehicle and foot.
• Monitor for signs of trespassing, vandalism, or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action.
• Conduct perimeter and property inspections to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce property rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Communicate with dispatch or supervisor as needed.
• Document incidents and prepare accurate reports using patrol reporting software.
• Ensure all assigned duties are completed prior to the end of shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required.

Requirements

• Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)
• Completion of 40-hour BSIS training (Required)
• Clean driving record — must provide DMV printout (Required)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout the shift
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable transportation and smartphone required
• Experience with patrol software (e.g., Trackforce, SilverTrac, or Destiny) required
• Must be comfortable navigating reporting apps and scanning QR checkpoints.

Uniform Requirements

• Uniforms provided by company.
• Officers must report to duty in full uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
