Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage a dedicated team of food service professionals. Duties
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency across all menu items.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and financial reconciliation.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training sessions, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions to enhance guest experiences.
- Manage staffing schedules, conduct interviews for hiring new team members, and oversee shift management to meet operational needs.
- Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and hospitality to build loyal clientele.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong culinary background with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Skilled in staff training & development with a focus on team management and performance improvement.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with catering services, banquet operations, or hotel food service is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities including shift management, customer service excellence, and operational oversight.
- Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and collaborating with vendors or suppliers.
