Food Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and safely to customers, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role requires a valid driver's license, experience with route driving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks when necessary. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks or courier vans, following assigned routes efficiently.
• Load and unload food orders using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure accurate delivery of orders to customers within designated timeframes.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle at all times.
• Assist with warehouse tasks related to inventory management, including moving supplies or products as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to ensure safe deliveries.
• Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred, especially with route driving in busy environments.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is advantageous.
• Commercial driving experience, particularly operating box trucks or vehicles with manual transmission, is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills are essential for ensuring positive interactions with clients.
• Candidates should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience handling heavy loads or working in fast-paced delivery settings will be beneficial for success in this role.
