General Manager – Full-Time

We're hiring a motivated, people-first General Manager to lead daily operations at Retro Fitness Cambridge. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who loves building strong teams, driving results, and creating a high-energy member experience. You'll oversee club operations, coach and develop staff, and set the tone for a positive, performance-driven culture-while making Retro Fitness Cambridge a place members are excited to show up to every day.

• Lead day-to-day club operations and serve as Manager-on-Duty

• Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team

• Drive revenue across membership, personal training, and retail

• Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep

• Manage schedules, payroll, expenses, and inventory

• Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently

• Ensure compliance with health, labor, and safety regulations

• Coach sales and training teams to achieve performance goals

• 2+ years of management experience

• 3+ years in fitness, hospitality, or a high-volume service environment (or bachelor's degree)

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Sales-driven mindset with financial awareness

• Comfortable with POS systems and Google Suite

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
