We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all restaurant operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and adherence to company standards.
- Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to reduce waste and control costs.
- Handle POS system for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all departments.
- Oversee shift management, customer service excellence, and resolve guest concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, catering events, banquet services, and bar operations.
- Implement budgeting strategies, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Lead hiring processes including interviewing candidates for various roles within the restaurant.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership in hospitality management, team management, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing full-service restaurants with a focus on food industry standards.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and health regulations.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Background in managing budgets, inventory control, and food cost analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including shift management, customer service issues, and operational logistics.
- Hospitality management certification or equivalent training preferred; assistant manager experience is advantageous.
