The right candidate will provide enterprise-level project management consulting services supporting large-scale legacy system replacement and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in PMO environments, vendor management, and cross-functional project delivery, with a proven ability to lead complex programs consisting of multiple workstreams while adhering to PMI PMBOK standards.

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, coordination, and administration of large-scale initiatives consisting of multiple sub-projects and/or workstreams
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) as a Project Manager, providing management and coordination across multiple projects and divisions
- Senior-level experience developing project strategies and execution plans when introducing functional or organizational change
- Demonstrated experience working within a PMO environment with a strong understanding of PMO practices, policies, project governance, and resource management
- Proven experience managing system integration vendors, including coordinating and delegating work across internal staff and consultant teams of 15+ personnel
- Expertise serving as the single point of contact for overall project status, including monitoring and control of scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholder management
- Ability to independently guide and manage project teams while fostering a collaborative and productive team environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Experience producing clear, concise, and actionable executive-level reports detailing progress, risks, challenges, and next steps
- Demonstrated ability to proactively solicit and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables and improve outcomes
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Hands-on experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Planview (PPM Pro) and Sensei IQ
- Experience with pension administration systems
- Experience delivering projects using multiple methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid, COTS, Iterative, and Waterfall
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Provide senior-level project management consulting services for assigned initiatives within a large enterprise project portfolio
- Operate within an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) supporting legacy system replacement and modernization programs
- Manage and coordinate project activities while working alongside internal teams and external vendors
- Ensure adherence to PMI PMBOK methodologies, project management best practices, and the full project lifecycle
- Provide leadership and guidance in identifying, assessing, and recommending process improvement opportunities through standardization, automation, and business process reengineering (BPR)
- Oversee vendor performance, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
