Position Overview:

As a Fine Jewelry Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering personalized service, showcasing our diverse inventory, and assisting with jewelry-related services. This position requires a deep appreciation for fine craftsmanship, strong sales skills, and the ability to connect with clients to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage customers with warmth and expertise to understand their preferences and guide them in selecting jewelry, including everyday items and unique, high-value pieces.
• Educate clients on jewelry characteristics, such as gemstone quality, metal types, and design craftsmanship, to build trust and drive sales.
• Assist with jewelry repair consultations, assessing customer needs and coordinating with our in-house repair team to ensure high-quality results.
• Conduct gold and diamond buying transactions, evaluating items with accuracy and professionalism while adhering to industry standards.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of jewelry to enhance the shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions, handle custom orders, and provide after-sales support, including cleaning and care advice.
• Stay informed about jewelry trends, materials, and market values to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to store operations, including inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in jewelry sales or a related field (e.g., luxury retail, gemology, or jewelry design).
• Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, including precious metals, gemstones, and diamonds, with the ability to explain quality and value to customers.
• Experience in jewelry repair processes or consultations, with an understanding of common repair techniques (e.g., sizing, stone setting, polishing).
• Familiarity with gold and diamond buying, including the ability to assess jewelry using industry-standard tools (e.g., loupe, scale, testing equipment).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide a luxury shopping experience.
• Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle delicate inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions, managing inventory, and communicating with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in gemology (e.g., GIA Graduate Gemologist or equivalent) or ongoing coursework in jewelry-related fields.
• Experience with custom jewelry design consultations or working with artisans to fulfill client requests.
• Knowledge of current jewelry trends and designers to enhance customer engagement.
