Our team of more than 115 trend-setting designers, customer service superheroes, operations pros, and IT and supply chain gurus is expanding. We have a current opening for a Distribution Center Manager on our Operations team in our Norcross, GA, location. If you are passionate about leading and developing an operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure that the right product gets to the right place at the right time, consider joining us as we provide beautiful ceramics and glassware for the event and floral industries, on-trend home decor accents, and exceptional customer service.

In return for your time and talents, we'll provide a values-driven culture, where team members do the right thing, pursue originality, embrace and drive change, respect every person, give generously, build community through empathy, and infuse passion in all we do. The starting salary for this role is expected to be between $95,000 and $125,000 per year. We offer comprehensive benefits including paid volunteer leave to support you as you give back to the community.

We are hiring a Distribution Center Manager to lead operations at our 250,000 sq. ft. Norcross facility, which supports a diverse product mix including décor and pottery items. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence across inbound, outbound, and inventory functions. The DC Manager will be accountable for all P&L aspects of the Norcross location and will drive performance across small parcel (SP), LTL, and wholesale distribution channels. Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration.

At Accent Decor, we don't just accept difference — we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our team members, our products, and our community. We are proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace.

We'd love to hear from you if you are adaptable, innovative, and your skill set includes:
Leadership & Operations

  • Overseeing all day-to-day DC operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Directly managing Inbound and Outbound Managers, fostering accountability and performance.
  • Ensuring operational readiness to support SP, LTL, and wholesale order fulfillment, with attention to packaging and handling of fragile goods.

Inventory Ownership

  • Maintaining full accountability for ~$7 million in inventory, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and proper storage.
  • Leading cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes to minimize shrinkage and discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with procurement, finance, and IT to ensure inventory systems are aligned and optimized.

Financial Accountability

  • Owning the full P&L for the Norcross DC, including labor, supplies, and operational expenses.
  • Monitoring budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service levels.
  • Partnering with finance to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment on inventory flow, order fulfillment, and customer expectations.
  • Serving as the operational liaison to support product availability, service level agreements, and vendor coordination.
  • Participating in planning meetings and provide operational insights to support business decisions.

Process Improvement

  • Identifying and implement process enhancements to improve throughput, reduce costs, and elevate service levels.
  • Optimizing warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient picking, packing, and storage.
  • Supporting technology upgrades and automation initiatives to streamline operations.

  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA, and internal safety standards.
  • Promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.

Team Development

  • Building and leading a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Proven experience managing inventory for fragile or high-value goods.
  • Strong understanding of SP and LTL shipping processes and wholesale distribution.
  • Experience managing P&L for a distribution or warehouse operation.
  • Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with decor, home goods, or similar product categories.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to lead in a high-volume, multi-channel environment.
