Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper (FT/PT) — $22/hr

Seeking a detail-focused Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle AP/AR for seven entities, keep intercompany clean, and support a fast month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Handle vendor onboarding, 3-way match, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Maintain AP aging, resolve discrepancies, manage 1099s and sales/use tax.
• Set up customers, invoice, apply cash, and manage collections.
• Maintain AR aging, support revenue cutoff, and reduce DSO.
• Record and reconcile intercompany activity monthly.
• Prepare AP/AR accruals, reconciliations, and close schedules.
• Improve workflows, automate processes, and maintain SOPs.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years AP/AR; multi-entity experience required.
• Basic GAAP (accruals, cutoff, intercompany).
• Experience with Quickbooks; AP/AR automation tools a plus.
• Strong Excel/Sheets; highly organized and accurate.
• Clear, professional communication.

Success Metrics

• Current AP/AR aging; >95% invoices paid on time; 60 days.
• Zero unreconciled intercompany balances.
• Close schedules delivered by day 3–5.
• SOPs + two process improvements.
