Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading industrial construction services provider operating across the Southeast. The organisation provides installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance services for manufacturing and industrial markets.

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will support project execution and management, ensuring high-quality delivery on industrial projects. Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing project contracts and documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, purchase orders, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with the project team, including foremen, project managers, contractors, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Support material take-offs, estimates, and project modifications.
• Attend and conduct meetings as required.
• Comply with all safety programs and organisational policies.
• Promote the organisation's core values through daily actions and decision-making.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Flexibility with a wide range of computer software.
• Engineer-in-Training certification, Journeyman license, or field experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to shops, warehouses, and industrial locations.
• Must be able to safely access all areas and use required PPE.
