Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, with experience in clinic settings. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, maintaining high standards of patient care, and managing staff effectively.

Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervise administrative staff, including receptionists and dental assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee appointment scheduling, patient records management, and billing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Implement office policies and procedures in accordance with JCAHO standards and best practices in healthcare management.
  • Coordinate with dental professionals to facilitate patient care and manage treatment plans effectively.
  • Monitor office budgets and expenses, identifying areas for cost savings while maintaining quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with managed care contracts and regulations related to critical care services.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for efficient patient data management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role within a clinic setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare management principles, including budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Familiarity with JCAHO standards and managed care processes is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Proficiency in office management software and electronic health record systems (experience with Epic is a plus).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
