We are seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and documenting outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate the movement of goods and maintain organized shipping records. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to timely processing. You will play a key part in our supply chain, ensuring that products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing shipments.
- Verify shipping addresses and order details to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Operate shipping software and maintain accurate shipping records.
- Inspect outgoing packages for proper packaging and labeling.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipping status and any issues that may arise.
- Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming goods as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Support the broader logistics team by ensuring efficient outbound operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and order management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable with basic Lifting of packages, typically under 30 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
