We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, contributing to the seamless flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming inventory, stocking shelves, picking items according to order tickets, and carefully packing them for safe transit. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise on shelves and in designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment, adhering to carrier requirements.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
