This role involves overseeing operations that may include significant Lifting, and ensuring all team members are properly trained on its safe execution and the use of appropriate PPE. - Supervise and direct warehouse staff on a daily basis.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Maintain operational records and generate performance reports.
- Manage staff schedules and workload distribution.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the ability to enforce it rigorously.
- Ability to manage tasks involving significant Lifting and direct safe handling procedures.
- Familiarity with required PPE and safety equipment.
