We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless flow of goods through our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Your responsibilities will include operating warehouse equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Logistics and warehouse safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Inspect equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all guidelines regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
