Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report any issues.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting, typically up to 50 lbs.
- Deep understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
- Experience in logistics and distribution is a strong asset.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including occasional overtime.
