We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be handling raw materials, finished goods, and various other items throughout the warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of operations and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety protocols and possess excellent attention to detail. Experience with different types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is highly advantageous. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Experience in a logistics setting is a plus.
