This position involves tasks that require moderate physical activity, including some Lifting and standing. Responsibilities:
- Generate accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Verify that order details match shipping requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) for shipment pickups.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate shipment status to relevant internal departments and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Utilize all provided PPE appropriately.
- Assist with physically moving shipments, which may include moderate Lifting .
- Support the overall flow of Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and order management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and remain active throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with carrier requirements and general Logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety .
- Must wear appropriate PPE , including safety footwear.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
