We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our efficient warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from storage to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through diligent picking.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Prior order picking experience is a plus.
